Off side Ref!

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

As I listen every day to the radio discussing last nights match’s, to often do we hear managers, reporters and fans complain about the ref and how he missed that incident that would have changed the game for your own benefit. If only your team hadn’t conceded those two early goals!

But anyway in this hi-tech, multimedia age, is it not time the establishment looked at options to help the poor man in the middle?

Time and time we hear and see proof of mistakes by the man in the middle and the masses seeing technology replay in a second the evidence to dam the poor man, can’t we give them help?

Turning Corners

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

We once laughed at others who aspired to take our throne and splash the cash to succeed.

Today we sit yet again turning another corner and the false dawn appears and we all get very excited!

After so many corners what can you glean from this, yes back at the start and a mountain to climb. But this time we seem to have management that understand sport and the talk is of a slow growth back to the pinnacle of our sport.

All us fans want is to hold our heads high and say “you never walk alone!” with pride and respect from everybody else.
